Today, Friday May 16th 2025 - Dolby announce the closure of the Personal PHRTF creator app and account. Here's their announcement and advice:
We’re sorry to tell you that we have made the difficult decision to shut down the Dolby Personalization app.But don’t worry! You can still download your personalized profile to Dolby Access through June 30, 2025. From July 1, 2025, all saved data will be deleted from the Dolby Personalization app, and you will no longer be able to capture personalization through the Dolby Personalization app or download your results to Dolby Access starting on this date.
What does this mean?
This means that we will no longer support the Dolby Personalization app from July 1, 2025, onward and all data will be erased.
What do I need to do?
If you wish to keep your personalized profile, you need to download your personalization to Dolby Access by June 30, 2025. As of July 1, 2025, you will no longer be able to capture personalization or download your results to Dolby Access. After this date, if you are signed out from your Personalized Rendering profile within Dolby Access for any reason, you will not be able to reapply the profile again.
